A Charity for All

National Heritage Foundation is an independent, donor-advised fund that helps individuals and organizations promote charitable giving. National Heritage Foundation is not affiliated with nor controlled by any outside organization. Independence and personal involvement are two areas National Heritage Foundation feels are vital to the American character, and National Heritage Foundation always endeavors to honor a donor’s wishes.

With many donor-advised funds, there are often many stipulations regarding the types of organizations donors can specify their assets for, typically restricting the giving to public charities, religious organizations, and colleges/universities. National Heritage Foundation is different from other donor-advised funds in that the management has arranged the fund so that a donor need only specify a qualified 501(c)(3) entity. National Heritage Foundation is able to offer this type of flexibility to donors because it is not a brokerage service collecting any sort of fees. Instead, it is independent of any financial institutions, and it does not provide any sort of financial or tax advice to donors. National Heritage Foundation encourages donors to take an active role in how their donation is administered. By personally overseeing how donations are being applied to a charity, National Heritage Foundation seeks to encourage responsible giving that is heart-to-heart, from donor to recipient.

National Heritage Foundation firmly believes that starting a foundation and giving should not be limited to only the wealthy. In this economic time of need, National Heritage Foundation can aide any party that wishes to establish a charitable program. Since its inception, National Heritage Foundation has made starting a foundation easy and accessible to all Americans.

Testing my blog

I am trying to learn how to create a blog with my cat kneading my stomach. Why is it that we feel that we don't want to disturb a cat while it's using it's needle-paws to make bread on our bodies? Or, if the cat is sleeping in the middle of the bed, why do we not want to kick it off? I know that if I try to reposition the cat, the cat will leave. Why do I care?

The dynamics of cat ownership and the torture we endure from them.
